Beauty and The Bra

Apartment Life So… I have moved into an apartment! It’s not the largest, but I love it. From a previous post you can read about all of the crazy nerves I had about coming here, but you guys honestly there was no need. So my four bed room two bath came with the basics, washer-dryer combo, a refrigerator/ freezer, dish washer, as well as a coffee table, 4 bar stools, a couch and an arm chair. When I came the walls seemed a terrifying shade of white and the rooms where drab. Slowly we are getting the apartment to a place that we like. We hung a tapestry where a TV is meant to be, we hung pictures, fabric, signs and of course a ton of candles. This place is beginning to feel more and more like home so with subtle changes we are covering those annoying white walls and making it a fun inviting place for my friends and me.    So this is the island, we wrapped it with fairy lights and it brightened up the apartment a lot. ...

Ireland is my favorite places to visit, not only because of its astounding beauty or the weather -which seems to always be at its worst when I am there- but because it is the home of my family. When my mother was about the age I am now she packed up her belongings and left Ireland, the home of her mother as well as her four siblings. Much to my brothers dismay, when my mother started her family we traveled from Zurich Switzerland to America and have only returned to Ireland as guests. Currently, we are the only ones from my mothers side of the family to leave Ireland let alone move to the United States. Since I was a child some of my fondest memories where of Ireland, spending time with my family, my grandmothers and experiencing things that I would not be able to in the States. I have a large family, with twenty-one cousins, I find that when I visit there is never nothing to do and this trip was no different. Hello, so I am Sheena, I am a college student in  North Carolina and I have crazy colored hair. I listen to a lot of music, watch horror movies, obsess about Disney and spend all my money on makeup. I am an English major and I hope to write for a living. My friends and I are a little strange we dance in grocery stores, break ping-pong tables, buy way to many snacks and steal cookies from the dining hall by my dorm. Speaking of which we are apparently not allowed to bring in plastic containers so we can store dining hall food in our rooms. Good thing they do not know about the tub of Lucky Charms I have hidden in my room. Anyway I can not think of anything else to tell you, so you will just have to sit down and find out.
