Weekly Favorites

Image
If you did not know before this is the post where I recap on the things I could not live without the week before.  I just dyed my hair this color and let me tell you,I am obsessed. I'm not a real pink fan but in my hair, I love it and when it's time to re-dye, it will be this color. I have to give this show a shout out. Wednesday is the last episode of the season and I am one-hundred percent addicted. The series is amazing and I suggest it to all and everyone. I just got my nostril pierced and I do not know what it would be like without this, it literally made the process so much easier and helped the healing. I bought a box of these today and already ate it.So good, I just could not stop. I love Ellen Hopkins. Her style of writing is amazing, and her story lines are always emotional and well written. She is my favorite author right now.   I can not stop listening to this CD. The Cab's Symphony Soldier kept popping up on Pandora, Spotifiy, YouTub

Makeup Tips I wish I had always known

Image
1. Use a white (or people have begun to use rose gold) eye shadow or liner on the water line of your eyes to make them look larger and brighter. 2. Filling in you eyebrows does SO much. Your eyebrows frame your face, give yourself more credit and try filling them in. You may have to experiment with colors and products, but when you get them right, you'll be shocked by the difference. 3. There are lip products that will make your teeth look whiter. I am so self concious about my teeth, after years with braces I have always been nervous with them but over time, my addiction to coffee has begun to show.So I use whitening tooth paste and mouthwash, then top off with a coat of lipstick from Hard Candy that whitens your teeth. 4. Concealing under your eyes does wonders. Whether you spent your night studying, or just have discoloration under your eyes, concealer can brighten your eyes, or just cover the bags your hiding. If you use a lighter color than the rest of your skin, i

Reasons Why Being Single Is NOT That Bad

Image
So I am writing this because sometimes people horrify me. When I meet or hear of someone that is never single, I do not know what I feel more, sad, or scared.  No one should be afraid to be single, even if that means sometimes being alone. Sometimes being single is scary, I know, especially so close to Valentine's day, but it is not all bad. This post is not just to show you the perks of being single, or to convince you to slow down and enjoy being you for a second, but to remind me as well, that being single can be just amazing some times.  1:You do not have to worry about if you are flirting or not.  Are you flirting with that cute guy that sits next to you in Biology? Yes? Well who cares, as long as its not hurting anyone go ahead and flirt, no ones going to have a bad thing to say.  2: You do not have to shave your legs.  Shaving adds so much time to your routine, but if you have a little bit of stubble and single, it does not matter, no one has to know.  3: No awkw

SO I'm not going to update for a few days.

I just started classes again, and I need to get everything back to normal before I return to my Daily posts.

SUPER! Smart Sundays!

Image
Hello my lovelies, Today on super smart Sundays, I present a painting by none other than Salvador Dali. Most Famous for his work The Clocks, a painting inspired by melting cheese, Salvador was a very eccentric man known for his amazing waxed mustache and pet Aardvark which he would walk down the streets of New York City. This painting is called Painting 322 and is one of my favorites. I suggest you search his others work as well.  Love you tons, Sheena

My Trip to Ireland

Image
Ireland is my favorite places to visit, not only because of its astounding beauty or the weather -which seems to always be at its worst when I am there- but because it is the home of my family. When my mother was about the age I am now she packed up her belongings and left Ireland, the home of her mother as well as her four siblings. Much to my brothers dismay, when my mother started her family we traveled from Zurich Switzerland to America and have only returned to Ireland as guests. Currently, we are the only ones from my mothers side of the family to leave Ireland let alone move to the United States. Since I was a child some of my fondest memories where of Ireland, spending time with my family, my grandmothers and experiencing things that I would not be able to in the States. I have a large family, with twenty-one cousins, I find that when I visit there is never nothing to do and this trip was no different. My mornings tended to begin when my mother woke me up - I would have

Top Ten Tips: From Me to You

Tip 1: Do not be afraid to switch things up. You would be surprised what a change in face wash or shampoo could do to you. While I was in Ireland I ran out of face wash and moisturizer, this means that I am forced to borrow for others. In the beginning I was afraid of what this would do to my skin, it is really sensitive and I was worried that it would cause a lot of damage. I was instead surprised by how smooth and clean my skin felt afterwards. Tip 2: Use a makeup remover that also cleans your skin. Never sleep wearing makeup, your skin needs time to relax and breath. With the amount of toxins that your skin faces daily, sleeping with clean skin tend to help you in the future and prevent damage, break outs and other imperfections. Tip 3: I do not care how pigmented your skin is, slather on the sunscreen, especially in summer. When the damage done by the sun can be prevented by a lotion, why not wear it. I personally wear it year round but that does not mean that everyone needs t
