Makeup Tips I wish I had always known



1. Use a white (or people have begun to use rose gold) eye shadow or liner on the water line of your eyes to make them look larger and brighter.
2. Filling in you eyebrows does SO much. Your eyebrows frame your face, give yourself more credit and try filling them in. You may have to experiment with colors and products, but when you get them right, you'll be shocked by the difference.
3. There are lip products that will make your teeth look whiter. I am so self concious about my teeth, after years with braces I have always been nervous with them but over time, my addiction to coffee has begun to show.So I use whitening tooth paste and mouthwash, then top off with a coat of lipstick from Hard Candy that whitens your teeth.
4. Concealing under your eyes does wonders. Whether you spent your night studying, or just have discoloration under your eyes, concealer can brighten your eyes, or just cover the bags your hiding. If you use a lighter color than the rest of your skin, it will also brighten your eyes. (NOTE: one shad lower, do NOT go lover than one shade lighter).
5.Holding toilet paper, or sticky notes, under your bottom lashes while using eye shadow will help with fall out. This helps a lot if there are sparkles in your eye shadow that you do not want all over your face.
6. Priming your eyelids before using shadow will keep if from creasing.
7.Setting your makeup will make your hard work last longer.
8. Your skin needs protection, year round. Priming, moisturizing, and using sun screen will protect your skin from the outside world. If you do these it will help with break outs, irritation and the over all health of your skin.
9.Remove all makeup before going to bed!!!! DO IT!
10. Changing your pillow cases often will help reduce irritation and break outs. 
11. Blend your makeup. It will keep you from looking like a paint by numbers.
12. Use a lip liner all over your lips and top it off with some gloss to keep the color from wearing off.
13. The brushes and other applicators you use make all the difference.
14. The shape of your eye directly effects how your shadow will look on you, so do not think that you will look identical to that tutorial.
15. A little bit of makeup can go a long way. Less is more, so see what you can do to look and feel amazing without caking it on. 
16. Have fun, not everything has to be serious, so if that purple is your favorite color, experiment to see how you like it on you.
17. Guru's are NOT right all of the time. They do not know you specifically, so you do not know if their tips will help you.

My Makeup Tips and Tricks

I love makeup, I am not a professional or anything but I like to play around with it and I think I've learn a lot in the last couple of years. I thought I would share some of these tips and tricks with you today in hope that it can perfect your game, Don't fear the eyeliner Eyeliner can be both the hardest and most important part of a makeup look. We all mess it up every once in a while and there is nothing more infuriating than messing up all of your hard work. Practice truly does make perfect and sometimes being nervous about something can make it the worst. It's music, it's spiritual.

My last post never went through. My bad! So new post just for you. The radio now seems to play music from the same three artists and that's a disgrace. With so many new artist and songs coming to light everyday I feel like it is my duty to share some of the songs I can not get out of my head. You may have heard of the artist you may not have but I suggest you give them a listen and expand your musical horizons.
