My Favorite Things of 2014

American Horror Story Freak Show


I've always been an AHS fan and I have not been disappointed by this season. Between murders, creepy clowns and amazing musical numbers I  became quickly obsessed with this season and suggest it to everyone. If you have yet to see this, you should. 

Guinea Pigs

I recently got a Guinea Pig and in all honestly I love him so much. He is super calm, easy to care for and always puts a smile on my face. I love that he is super cuddly and he gets along with everyone, including my roommates.

Maybelline Rocket Mascara

This mascara gives me long, dark and voluminous lashes without pulling at them or causing any bad reactions. This is my favorite mascara of the year and I can not imagine a world without it. I know that some people are against it but I have always been a big Maybelline Mascara girl and suggest it to everyone.

Anything by the brand ELF

I love this brand, it is cheap and great quality and I am utterly obsessed. I have tried out many of their products and have liked them all, the only obsession though was to their mascara which honestly didn't stand to my high expectations. This is one of my favorite brands and from their brushes to their lipsticks I adore it. 

Tease Perfume by Victoria Secret

I got my first bottle of this perfume for Christmas last year and honestly I still wear it every day. This perfume is one of my favorites and really I don't understand why I hadn't found it sooner. This perfume lasts really well and makes a great gift for everyone. 

Head and Shoulders Green Apple Shampoo

I was told by my doctor to start using this in order to thicken by hair but really I think I fell in love with the smell. It stays in you hair for a while and makes your hair and scalp feel fresh. I use the two in one because I am not a fan of conditioner (it weighs down my hair) but this stuff does just the job. 

Hot Pink Lipstick

I have always loved bold hair, but now I love bold lipstick too. Currently I am using a NYC lipstick in this shade but I have also tried an ELF shade as well as a NYX one. I don't know why I love it so much but it feel like this shocking look will boost anyone's confidence. 

Soap and Glory Body Wash

I once again got this body wash for Christmas but it is super moisturizing as well as super scented. It is amazingly silky and has effected my skin so positively. I swear you don't even need a moisturizer with it. Truly I am obsessed. 

Neutrogena Clear Pore Toner

This stuff is super powerful and smells disgusting but boy does it work well. It gets everything out of you skin and leaves it tingly and clean. It was suggested to me by a friend and it is probably the best thing I have ever seen. If you are looking for a good toner please try this stuff, I promise you'll love it.

My Makeup Tips and Tricks

I love makeup, I am not a professional or anything but I like to play around with it and I think I've learn a lot in the last couple of years. I thought I would share some of these tips and tricks with you today in hope that it can perfect your game, Don't fear the eyeliner Eyeliner can be both the hardest and most important part of a makeup look. We all mess it up every once in a while and there is nothing more infuriating than messing up all of your hard work. Practice truly does make perfect and sometimes being nervous about something can make it the worst. I think my eyeliner looks the best when I get past the nerves take a deep breath and paint with a steady confident hand. It doesn't matter what type of eyeliner you use gel, liquid, crayon or kajal eyeliner looks best when you just go along with it and practice. My last post never went through. My bad! So new post just for you. The radio now seems to play music from the same three artists and that's a disgrace. With so many new artist and songs coming to light everyday I feel like it is my duty to share some of the songs I can not get out of my head. You may have heard of the artist you may not have but I suggest you give them a listen and expand your musical horizons. Some of these include the video others include a link so please put up with me. Do you remember the ever so popular Aint No Hollaback Girl that blasted through radios through the early 2000's?
